Wasserstoffbrücken in p-Methoxybenzamidoxim

Hydrogen bridging of p-methoxy-benzamide oxime

Abstract

The association of the molecules of p-methoxy-benzamide oxime (pMetB) is of the type O−H ... O. All molecules are bridged in the solid state. The number of the hydrogen bridges decreases with diluting of the solution. The complexing properties ofpMetB are due to the NH2-group which remains unbridged.

Zusammenfassung

Die Assoziation der Moleküle des p-Methoxybenzamidoxims (pMetB) ist von der Art O−H ... O. In festem Zustand sind alle Moleküle verbrückt. Die Zahl der Wasserstoffbrücken nimmt beim Verdünnen der Lösung ab. Die komplexbildenden Eigenschaften despMetB sind durch die NH2-Gruppe, die unverbrückt bleibt, bedingt.
