Über die Chlorsulfonierung von arylsubstituierten Indonen

Zusammenfassung

Durch Auflösen von 2,3-Diphenylindon in Chlorsulfonsäure bei Raumtemperatur wird 2-(p-Chlorsulfophenyl)-3-phenylindon erhalten. 2-Phenyl-3-p-tolylindon gibt unter gleichen Bedingungen — neben 2-(p-Chlorsulfophenyl)-3-p-tolylindon — auch 2-(p-Chlorsulfophenyl)-3-p-tolyl-4-chlorsulfoindon. Bei Einwirkung von Ammoniak auf diese drei Indonsulfochloride bilden sich die entsprechenden Sulfindonylamide. Aus 2-(p-Chlorsulfophenyl)-3-phenylindon wurden mit aliphatischen und aromatischen Aminen, mit Alkoholen, Phenolen und Phenolcarbonsäuren und mit aliphatischen und aromatischen Aminosäuren entsprechend substituierte Sulfindonyl-amide,-ester und N-Aminosäuren erhalten.

Abstract

The 2-(p-chlorosulfophenyl)-3-phenylindone has been prepared by dissolving 2,3-diphenyl-indone in chlorosulfonic acid at ordinary temperature. Under the same conditions the 2-phenyl-3-p-tolyl-indone gave beside 2-(p-chlorosulfophenyl)-3-p-tolylindone also 2-(p-chlorosulfophenyl)-3-p-tolyl-4-chlorosulfoindone. By interaction of ammonia on these three indone-sulfochlorides the corresponding indone-sulfonamides have been obtained. From 2-(p-chlorosulfophenyl)-3-phenyl-indone by interaction with aliphatic and aromatic amines, with alcohols, phenols and phenolic acids and with aliphatic and aromatic aminoacids the correspondingly substituted sulfindonylamides,-esters and-N-amino-acids have been synthesized.
