Umsetzungen in wasserfreiem Benzoylbromid

Zusammenfassung

Benzoylbromid löst verschiedene Metallbromide unter elektrolytischer Dissoziation. Entwässerungen von Metallbromidhydraten sind mit Benzoylbromid möglich. Aus den Lösungen einiger Metallbromide werden Solvate erhalten. Ionenreaktionen von gelösten Metallbromiden mit Tetraalkylammoniumbromiden führen zu Bromokomplexen (Bromidionenkoordination); aber auch dem Carbonylsauerstoff der Solvensmolekel dürfte bei der Komplexbildung eine maßgebliche Rolle zukommen.
