Phenylborsäure bzw. Phenylbordichlorid wurde mit einer Reihe bifunktioneller Ausgangssubstanzen zu fünf- und sechsgliedrigen Borheterocyclen kondensiert, wobei das Boratom einem, zwei oder drei weiteren Heteroatomen im Ring benachbart ist.
