Abstract
An approximate solution is derived for the thermodiffusophoresis problem of the motion of two large, solid, interacting aerosol particles of spheroidal shape which have identical dimensions and thermal properties. The thermodiffusophoresis forces and velocities are calculated with an accuracy to small terms of up to third order, inclusively, for the cases in which the line connecting the centers of the spheroids is perpendicular and parallel to the direction in which the particles are moving. The resulting expressions for the force and velocity are of the same form for the two aerosol particles.
