Diamagnetic susceptibility of carbon materials with two-dimensional graphite structure

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

The diamagnetic susceptibility (DMS) of an electron gas in two-dimensional graphite (TDG) is computed with the impurity potential taken into account. Known experimental dependences of the DMS of modern carbon materials with TDG structure on the Fermi energy of the carrier system and the temperature are analyzed. The computed expressions are in satisfactory agreement with experimental results.
