Abstract

Arylalkylketone reagieren mit Benzylmalonsäure-bis-(2,4-dichlorphenol)-ester II bei Temperaturen um 250° zu in 3-Stellung mit Benzylgruppen substituierten 4-Hydroxy-2-pyronen (Pyronoone-[2,4]). Mit Hilfe von AlCl3 können diese leicht “entbenzyliert” werden. Der Mechanismus dieser eigenartigen Reaktion wird diskutiert.
