Abstract
Within the bounds of the recently proposed covariant perturbation theory for nonlocal terms of an effective action, we develop a technique for the coincidence limits of the heat kernel, Green functions, polarization operators, and their covariant derivatives. We briefly discuss applications of the obtained results for radiative currents to expectation values and matrix elements of the various field operators.
