Abstract

The problem of finding the optimal thickness and maximum bandwidth of a singlelayer absorber of electromagnetic waves from the known magnetic susceptibility spectrum of ferrite is solved on a fast computer. A method is proposed for determining the suitability of standard ferrites as materials for wide-band absorbers of electromagnetic waves.
