Mössbauer spectra of partially inversed spinels

Abstract

A method is given for determining the sign of the electric field gradient and examining the cation distribution from the characteristic changes in the symmetry of particular positions in the structure on successive change in composition in order to determine the cation distributions over the nonequivalent positions in chrome spinels.
