Unterschiedliche Paarungsaktivität innerhalb und zwischen verschiedenen geographischen Stämmen vonDrosophila Subobscura

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Vererbungslehre Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

Males ofDrosophila subobscura from northern strains showing a low degree of inversion polymorphism are sexually less active than those from highly polymorphic southern strains. The success of single pair crosses is higher in intra-than in inter-strain crosses. The differences between the various strains may be due to quantitative or qualitative differences in the mating behavior.
