Abstract
The spontaneous emission of an electron moving in an infinite plane magnetic undulator is examined. The angular-spectral distribution of the emission is found in explicit form in the weak-field approximation for an arbitrary structure of the undulator field and is the product of a factor, which depends only on the harmonic, and a function of the angles and the velocity parameter, but independent of the harmonic.
