Interstitial complexes in alloys

Abstract

A statistical calculation is performed on the equilibrium concentration of interstitial complexes each composed of two C atoms occupying octahedral interstitial sites in disordered FCC A-B alloy. The solubility of component C in the presence of the complexes has been determined.
