Reflection of light at an interface of two anisotropic materials

Abstract

From a coordinate method, the Fresnel formulas are derived for the amplitude coefficients of reflection at an interface between anisotropic uniaxial media with optical axes collinear and oriented along an axis of the coordinate system associated with the interface and the plane of incidence.
