Abstract
We discuss the asymptotic behavior of thermodynamic functions in the vicinity of critical points on the basis of the theory of thermodynamic equilibrium stability. We obtain two types of relations between critical exponents in the critical state. The general thermodynamic results are illustrated using classic self-consistent Van der Waals and Curie-Weiss field models.
