Variational principles of magnetostatics of superconductors. I

Abstract

Fundamental and dual variational principles of magnetostatics of superconductors are formulated. It is shown how test fields can be expressed in terms of vector and scalar potentials. General consequences of the variational magnetostatic formulation are discussed.
