Abstract
Experimental and theoretical investigations have been carried out on the efficient operating conditions of an XeF laser with discharge stabilized by an electron beam of duration 50 nsec. The experimental values obtained were ∼0.15 J (∼3 J/liter) for the radiative energy per pulse and ∼1.5% for the efficiency.
