Estimate and interpretation of ESR line widths of “hole” centers in alkali-silicate glasses

Abstract

A method is discussed in this paper, allowing to separate the component of ESR spectral line width due to a g-factor variation from center to center in materials with random spin orientations. Spectra ofα andβ centers in alkali-silicate glasses are analyzed by this method.
