Abstract
Original methods are proposed for a direct approach to the calculation (with extended precision) of flat cross sections of isoenergetic surfaces En(k) = E0 for the electrons of a solid, belonging to the n-th energy band. Two different methods to determine points of the contour L (E) of a cross section are considered. They are based on an iterative technique: the points of the contour of a section obtained during the computation are used to determine new points.
