Abstract
The equilibrium statistical properties of a small lattice model of a binary solid solution with phase stratification are calculated by the methods of statistical modeling and direct conversion of configurations. Various conventional criteria of two-phase behavior are compared with each other and with the thermodynamic boundary of the two-phase region.
