Thermodynamic characteristics of interstitial helium atoms in alkali-halide crystals (computer calculations using the lattice statics method)

Abstract

In this paper, calculations of the thermodynamic characteristics (energy, entropy, and volume) are performed for helium atoms dissolved in alkali-halide crystals in the interstitial positions of the crystalline lattice and migrating via the interstitial mechanism.
