Magnification of the frequency dispersion of the permittivity in ferroelectrics with defects

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

Experimental data about the behavior of the dynamic susceptibility and the damping factor of a number of perovskite ferroelectrics as a function of the defect concentration are discussed. The effect of an extraordinarily strong frequency dependence of the location of the permittivity temperature peak is explained on the basis of the Landau phenomenological theory of phase transitions.
