Correction of electron motion in magnetic undulator

Abstract

The dynamics of the motion of relativistic electrons in an iron-free magnetic undulator is studied by analytic and numerical methods. The technique presented for calculating the parameters of the correcting sections of the undulator ensures the required direction and coordinates for the emergence of the electron beam from the apparatus.
