Method for calculating the elements of S matrices for reactions with arbitrarily polarized electrons

Abstract

The proposed method for calculating the elements of S matrices is based on a special notation for the amplitudes of the electron and positron wave functions. The products of the amplitudes of the particle pairs entering into the matrix element are expanded in Dirac matrices, and the traces are calculated. Some properties of the terms in the expansion coefficients are considered.
