Ferromagnetic domain structure dynamics and microeddy currents in high-frequency fields

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

An expression is found for the energy loss of an external alternating field in a ferromagnetic conducting plate that contains 180° domain walls by means of a self-consistent solution of the equation of motion of a domain wall and Maxwell's equations; the shielding effect of microeddy currents is taken into consideration.
