Kinetics of the isotropic expansion of a uniform electron-photon plasma

Abstract

An analysis is performed of the main stages in the expansion of an electron-photon plasma with collisional processes taken into account. A relativistic Fokker-Planck equation for the electrons in the Compton stage of the expansion is derived from the general covariant kinetic equation.
