Time averaging of the spatial structure of scattered radiation

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

The paper describes a theoretical and experimental investigation of the relationships between the spatial and temporal statistics of the background of scattered coherent radiation. It is shown that temporal and spatial recording of the scattered radiation background are equivalent in studies of its statistical properties and an investigation of the influence of the recording time is reported.
