Abstract
Two-dimensional motion of an electron is analyzed in static and orthogonal nonuniform electromagnetic fields linearly depending (in the orbital plane) on the coordinate which determines the electric field direction. Exact solutions of relativistic equations of motion have been obtained in the form of elliptical functions. If the fields are of equal magnitudes the solutions can be expressed as elementary functions.
