Abstract
The effect of manganese on the Curie point, elastic properties and magnetostriction of Fe-Ni invars was studied. It was established that manganese suppresses the invar anomaly of these alloys. Non-uniform distribution of manganese in the austenite spreads the ferromagnetic transformation.
