Measurement of photon energy and approach angle from an analysis of the tracks of the (e+e) pair in a multilayer γ-telescope spark chamber

Abstract

An investigation is made of the problems involved in measuring the characteristics of a photon in the energy range ∿5–200 MeV with a γ-telescope whose main recording element is a multilayer spark chamber with an inhomogeneous structure.
