Magnetic supersusceptibility of atoms

  • Published:
Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

Analytical expressions are obtained for supersusceptibility of atoms with filled shells in a uniform magnetic field harmonically depending on time. Dynamic and static supersusceptibilities are calculated for He, Be, and Ar in the Hartree-Fock approximation and in the random phase and exchange method (RPAE).
