Abstract
In an analysis of the interaction of self-excited and stimulated oscillations in the transient and steady-state regimes during the synchronization of Thomson systems, it is shown that, depending on the amplitude and detuning of the driving emf, the synchronous regime can be reached by a locking of the self-oscillation frequency as a result of the self-parametric effect and damping of the self-excited oscillations.
