Conclusions

The spectra of radiation-induced ESR centers in glasses in the precrystallization period differ from the spectra of irradiated initial glasses only in their intensity.

The spectrum of crystallized glasses is much more complex in shape and structure. The most intense lines are due to the same centers as theα. andΒ lines of the initial glass, but owing to the symmetrization and ordering due to crystallization the ESR spectra of these centers show resolved regions corresponding to the values of the main components of the g tensor.

Thus, crystallization products of alkali-tellurite glasses have some of the regions characteristic of the initial glass (regions of formation ofα andΒ centers), but they also have several new structures, including regions similar to those present in tellurium dioxide.
