Thermomagnetic effects in iron-cobalt films

Abstract

Changes taking place in the thermomagnetic parametersα andβ of thin iron—cobalt films during the transition from the close-packedγ andε phases to the bcc phase based onα-Fe are considered. There is a specific relationship between the increment inα and the number of carriers. The change in electrical resistence makes a considerable contribution to the behavior of the parameter Qs. These changes in properties are discussed with due allowance for the energy-band model of a binary alloy.
