On disturbances in a piezoelectric layer permeated by a magnetic field

The methods of transform calculus are made use of in finding the disturbances in a piezoelectric layer with an impulsive force at its free faces in presence of a magnetic field. The problem is solved for time dependent elastic compliance of the material of the layer.
