On the effect of discontinuity in boundary gradient or in material properties on propagation of elastic waves

Summary

The effect of surface irregularities in the form of boundary discontinuous gradients has been studied. It has been shown that certain waves will be attenuated due to passage through such irregularities in internal structure.
