Abstract
An experimental investigation has been made of the effects of artificially excited two-dimensional gravity waves on the process of interfacial mass transfer during desorption of CO2 from a layer of liquid of uniform depth. A simple dimensionless relationship is proposed for calculating mass transfer coefficients during the use of such means for intensifying processes.
