Experimental study of thermal conductivity in lithium in the gaseous phase at high temperatures

  • Published:
Journal of engineering physics Aims and scope

Abstract

Thermal conductivity of lithium vapor is measured over the temperature range of 1400–1800 K at pressures of 10–80 kPa. The temperature dependence of thermal conductivity of the monatomic vapor is obtained and the effect of molecular components on thermal conductivity is studied.
