Conclusions
The condensation of 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glucopyranose with dibutylacetyl phosphite proceeds without inversion of the configuration, forming 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-β-D-glycopyranosyldibutyl phosphite.
