External capacitive probes for the nondestructive determination of the dielectric properties of polymeric materials

Abstract

The effect of the finite dimensions of the test object on the results of nondestructive determination of the dielectric properties of polymers with external capacitive probes has been investigated. Recommendations are made for eliminating the effect of the air gap between the electrodes and the surface of the test object.
