Influence of mechanical treatment on the dispersion and crystal structure of NaY type zeolite

Conclusions

Mechanical pulverization of NaY zeolite crystals leads to a decrease in the adsorption volume and a decrease in the intensities of the lines on the x-ray diffraction patterns, which indicates a breakdown of their crystal structure.
