Variation of the viscoelastic characteristics of highly extended plasticized rubber in periodic shear

Abstract

A description is given of the behavior of a highly extended plasticized rubber compound in periodic shear in the frequency range from 25 to 260 Hz at strain amplitudes from 10−6 to 10−3. The dependence of the viscoelastic functions on deformation amplitude and frequency is investigated. Expressions invariant with respect to deformation frequency and amplitude are obtained for the dynamic viscosity.
