Deformation properties of polymers

Abstract

The basic relations of the local strains theory are used to construct expressions for the deformation properties of polymers. The local strains function is assumed to be piecewise-linear, and nonlinear relations σ11(e11) qualitatively describing the deformation of polymers are obtained.
