Conclusions

  1. 1.

    By the reaction of 2-(chloromethyl)-3-methylquinoxaline with triethyl, triisopropyl, and tributyl phosphites the corresponding (3-methyl-2-quinoxalinylmethyl)phosphonic esters were synthesized.

     
  2. 2.

    By the reaction of 2-(chloromethyl)-3-methylquinoxaline 1- or 4-oxide with triethyl phosphite diethyl (3-methyl-2-quinoxalinylmethyl)phosphonate 1- or 4-oxide was prepared. Some of the properties of the compounds synthesized were studied.
