Conclusions

α-Nitrosotetrafluoroethanesulfonyl fluoride, the first member of the geminal nitrosulfonyl compounds, was obtained by the electrophilic substitution method under basic solvolysis conditions.

A study was made of some of the properties ofα-nitrosotetrafluoroethanesulfonyl fluoride and it was shown that the sulfofluoride and nitrosyl groupings are labile.

The presence of the bis[tetrafluoro-]-(fluorosulfonyl)ethyl]nitrooxide radical inα-nitrosotetrafluoroethanesulfonyl fluoride was detected by the EPR method.

4.
The anion-radicals of a new structural type were recorded in the systems ofα-nitrosotetrafluoroethanesulfonyl fluoride with various electron-donor compounds. The spectra of the hyperfine structures were obtained and their assignment was made.
