Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Free radicals inγ irradiated glassy aqueous solutions of carbohydrates were investigated by the methods of EPR and optical spectroscopy at 77°K, and theiryields were measured.

  2. 2.

The optical characteristics of e capt in these systems were measured.

  3. 3.

The kinetics of the photochemical reaction of e capt with radicals was investigated.
