Conclusions
-
1.
The solubility of potassium tetraphenylborate (TPB) in mixtures of acetone with water at 0 and 50° was studied. A synergistic effect of an increase in the solubility is noted in the mixed solvent.

2.
The solubility of potassium TPB was studied in water at 0, 20, 25, 50, 75, and 97.5°. Hydrolytic decomposition is noted at high temperatures.
