Conclusions
-
1.
The polarographic reduction of the Co-C bond in an alkylbis(salicylidenato)ethylenediaminecobalt (III) was studied.
-
2.
Despite the reversible nature of electron transfer to these complexes, the half-wave potentials depend on the decomposition rate of the initially formed organic compounds of cobalt(II).
