Conclusions

Tin tetraacetylates and dialkyltin dihalides were obtained by the redistribution reactions of functional groups between dialkyltin acylates and tin tetrahalides. Dimethoxydibutyltin reacts with SnI4 to give tetramethoxytin and dibutyltin diiodide.

Compounds of type R2Sn(OOCR′)2, R2Sn(Cl)(OOCR′), and R2R′SnOOCR were obtained by the redistribution reactions of radicals.
