Conclusions

  1. 1.

    An excess of CdCO3, clear up to a 9-fold excess, has no effect on the yields of cyclic ketones during the thermal decomposition of the cadmium salts of adipic, suberic, and sebacic acids.

     
  2. 2.

    Cadmium sebacate and the suberate, when mixed with CdCO3, cause its decomposition with the evolution of CO2 during thermal decomposition at 340–350°.
